When Eve told me about her idea of Limited Edition nappies for the Baba + Boo range I got excited. Even though we arent a huge fan of pocket nappies in this house, we do use our Baba + Boo nappies regularly as they as so easy to use and reliable (and cute!). The thought of the same nappy but in pretty prints that are only around for a short period of time sounded great!!
Eve Kindly sent us one to try and I can honestly say I prefer it to our normal minky versions, not only is the print really cute (makes me think of ladybirds!) and different but the fabric has a really tactile feel, it feels expensive, thick and durable, without feeling stiff or hard, I think the new fabric helps give the nappy a trimmer fit too. The overall design of the nappy is the same as the new Series II and each nappy comes with two microfibre inserts that can be snapped down to the desired size. I have to say that we dont get on with microfibre in general as Chloe tends to flood them and we get leaks but we can get away with both these inserts in for nearly 3 hours or we usually use instead a bamboo or hemp insert, as the pocket opening is nice and large, it’s super easy to get extra inserts in.
The range of prints is lovely, I’ve always been a fan of red and black but it’s great to see a nice equal balance of boy/girl and gender neutral prints. Eve is hoping to refresh the range frequently so I cant wait to see what else is coming!!
So a big thumbs up for us, and OH really likes it too, I tend to go off minky outers in hot weather so these are definitely perfect for us at the minute. And before you go thinking that the words ‘limited edition’ probably has a high price tag on it then think again as for £9.75 they are still well below the price of most standard BTP pocket nappies.
And that’s not the best thing either, to celebrate the launch of the new range, Eve is offering 15% off everything online until Friday 15th July. Just enter BOO15 at the checkout, the gorgeous Limited Edition range can be found here.
